Retelling: Hunger Games

            As soon as Katniss believes that her life cannot become any more depressing her worst nightmare becomes a reality.  The Capitol forces Katniss to leave everything she knows behind, and prepare for her death.  She's welcomed to the violent Hunger Game's Arena, also known as he home of killings, murder, and death.  She finds herself battling for her life, creating alliances, and even finding her route to victory.   After a lot of plotting and thinking she goes with her plan and threatens the Capitol.  Against the odds two victors are crowned, leaving the Capitol furious.  The Hunger Games had been hacked, and nobody is innocent.

Do aliens really exist?  Long ago, on the planet of Lorien, something was not right.  Dark gloomy clouds haunted the sky, creating a swirling funnel as the Mogadorians began to invade Lorien.  The Loriens were not prepared for a battle, but they knew that the Mogadorians were to strong to be defeated.  Soon there would be a war on Lorien, a war that could not be won. So with that the Loriens' decided that the only way to save their kind was to send the newborns to a distant planet.  Believe it or not that distant planet was earth.  
15 years later.....

            With time the young Lorien children grew up, and developed many powers.  These powers required responsibility.   The Loriens were given the powers to protect themselves from the Mogadorians.  That was John Smith's life, hiding from the Mogadorians that hoped to destroy him.  Even on earth nothing could be trusted, because the Mogadorians soon discovered he Loriens' on earth.  The Mogadorians killed the young Loriens by their numbers 1-9.  They had already killed the first three, John Smith was number 4.  He knew he was next in line to be killed.
           
             Paradise, Ohio....is anything but paradise to John.  But his "father" Henry thinks it is the perfect hiding place for John.  In Paradise he goes to school, and tries to fit in the best he can.  But with powers he cannot play any sports, join many clubs, or hang out with friends very often.  John  understood that if he played sports he would be too fast, or too strong to be normal.  As time past the Mogadorians were hot on his trail.  Henry told John  that it was time to move again but John refused.  Soon the Mogadorians found John in Paradise, Ohio.  A battle breaks out, and John overcomes the Mogadorians and wins the battle.  But not for long, because soon he will be faced by them again.
